Keith Herrschaft's Notes on Drawing Hands

     Notes on Drawing Hands is the first book of a new series. This book, as the title suggests, is focused entirely on drawing hands.

     The illustration heavy pages focus on concepts to consider when starting your sketches, and lead you through the process of finishing your illustration. The chapters are broken into three major sections, beginning with the gesture, into the refining stage, and finally, Detail.

     Hands seem to be one of the major aspects of drawing that artists struggle with. This book collects many of the ideas that I wish I had come across earlier in my drawing career.
